Compare your budgeted, scheduled and actual PPD day by day.
Open the report
Go to Analytics.
Click the PPD report title.
Set your dates at the top right.
Click Filters to pick a Department, Care level, or Position.
Click HPPD for hours, or $/PPD for labor cost.
Click a day to see every shift and the hours behind it.
What the columns mean
Census: residents that day.
Budgeted HPPD: your target.
Scheduled HPPD: from the schedule.
Actual HPPD: from hours worked.
Scheduled Difference: scheduled hours minus actual hours.
The bottom rows show Averages and Totals.
Good to know: The Position filter doesn't change budgets. Budgeted HPPD still includes all positions.
Common questions
Is HPPD the same as PPD?
Yes. HPPD means hours per patient day.
Why can't I click $/PPD?
It needs financial data access. Ask an admin.
Can I export this?
Yes. Click Download above the table.
