Your census drives your PPD, so keep it current.
Connected to PointClickCare? Your census updates on its own each day, so you don't need to do this. Not sure? Check with your admin.
Update the census
Go to Dashboard.
To change another day, use the arrows in the Today card.
Click Cen next to the PPD number.
Type the number in Census. Add a Note if you want.
Click Save.
Good to know: If you track census by care level, enter a number for each care level. Veras shows the total.
Common questions
Do I have to update it every day?
No. Veras keeps using your last census until you change it.
Why can't I edit the census?
You need the Manage census permission. Ask an admin, or see Create or edit a role.
