Try Veras with 2 to 5 staff for 1 to 2 weeks before everyone starts.
1. Pick your test group
Choose 2 to 5 staff who are comfortable with phones.
Pick people from different roles or shifts.
Tell them they're helping test the app.
2. Post only their shifts
On Schedule, click the three dots next to a test person's name.
Click Post/Draft shifts.
Pick the Date range, choose Post Shifts, then click Update shifts.
Repeat for each test person.
3. Send their login details
On Team, tick the box next to each test person.
Click Send login details, then Send.
4. Run it for real
Use Veras as the only schedule for this group.
Ask them to check shifts, pick up open shifts, and message you in the app.
Practice changes, call-offs, time off, and sharing open shifts.
Good to know: Everyone else's shifts stay in draft, so other staff see nothing yet.
