We’ve added new features to the platform, including a setting for partial shift pickups and improvements to our reporting tools. Below is an overview of the updates. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help! 😊

Building on our new Split Shifts feature from last week, we’ve now added Partial Shift Pickup requests for employees. This enhancement improves the mobile app experience, allowing employees to select specific times they’re available to work and choose the segment they want. When viewing open shifts, you can request part of a shift by selecting the 'Request part of the shift' button. From there, employees can drag to choose the portion of the shift they can work and submit their request to the scheduler. If a partial shift is approved, the remaining portion will automatically create a new open shift unless it’s assigned to another employee.

We’ve made it easier to quickly switch shifts between draft and published status right from the shift preview. Simply click the icon next to 'Shift Details' to turn a shift into a draft, or select the check mark to publish it!
