We've made updates to our scheduling views to prioritize budgets, make Open Shifts easier to identify, and help you spot gaps in the schedule more efficiently. Additionally, we've enhanced our Smart Suggestions to provide better insights when you're over or under budget. Here’s a closer look at the improvements we’ve made:
Open Shifts & Budgets
Open shifts are now aligned with groupings for a more streamlined view—for example, when viewing by Area, open shifts relevant to that area will appear at the top. On the By Staff page, you’ll see only the time dimension relevant to your budgeting method: Shift if budgeting by headcount, or Time of Day if budgeting by PPD. Inline shift creation, whether unfilled or assigned to a worker, now respects group parameters such as area, shift template, and position. Additionally, budgets display an arrow or checkmark to indicate whether the group is on budget, with clickable details for a breakdown.
Note: Open Shifts being displayed by Shift, making it simply to show where you need coverage based on your budgets 👍
Budgets quickly displaying arrows to show if you under or over staffed. Click on the arrows and see why and get quick Smart Suggestions to get your budgets back on track!
12-Hour Time AM/PM
We’ve heard your feedback on time displays, and we’re excited to share that all shifts are now shown in 12-hour AM and PM formats. This update makes finding and adding shifts faster and easier, removing the need for mental math to calculate shift times.
