Update: Schedule Page Optimization

In this article we will be going over the changes made to the schedule page to make it more simple and have less clicks!

Updated over 5 months ago

What’s New and Why We Made These Changes

We’ve updated the layout of the scheduling page to make your workflows faster, simpler, and more intuitive. These improvements are designed to reduce unnecessary clicks, make features easier to find, and help you get scheduling tasks done more efficiently.

Here’s what’s changed:

1. Schedule View Selector

Previously, view options were located as icons in the top left corner. We’ve replaced them with a cleaner dropdown menu that allows you to quickly choose your preferred schedule view.

2. Filters Made Easier

The filter icon is gone — and for good reason! Filter options are now displayed prominently at the top of the page, making them easier to access. You can also now select multiple positions at once, helping you refine your view with greater flexibility.

3. Simplified 3-Dot Menu

We’ve reorganized the 3-dot menu (top right corner) to consolidate key tools and improve usability. Here’s what you’ll now find in this menu:

  • Master Schedule: Set and manage your base staffing plan.

  • Optimize Open Shifts: Smart-create shifts that you need to fill to meet budgets

  • Recently added features: Access new features like Multi-Select, Customize, and Restore Shifts.

These updates are all about making scheduling more streamlined and easier to manage. If you have feedback or questions, we’d love to hear from you!
