Manually Add Shifts to the Schedule

This article explains how to manually add both individual and bulk shifts

Veras simplifies scheduling by allowing you to quickly add both individual and multiple shifts. Here’s how to create your schedule efficiently.


Multiple Shifts

1. Go to Schedule on the left side of the screen.

2. Find the employee you want to create shifts for and click the three dots to the right of their name; this will bring up a pop-up menu where you can select + Add New Shifts

3. Select the desired dates on the calendar to add shifts

4. Choose the appropriate Position, Assigned Worker, and Shift Template. You can also include any Areas, Assignments, or Notes as needed

5. Click Save to complete the process

Note: The shifts will remain as drafts until you publish your schedule. To learn how to Publish Your Schedule, read the article here


Single Shift

1. Go to Schedule on the left side of the screen.

2. Find the employee you want to create a shift for. Next click on the day you want to add a shift to

3. Click on the add icon (+) , this will bring up a pop-up menu where you can select Add a shift (+)

4. Choose the appropriate Position, Assigned Worker, Shift Template and Date. You can also include any Areas, Assignments, or Notes as needed

5. Click Save to complete the process
