Filter the schedule

Show only the areas, shifts, or staff you need, and change how shifts look.

Filters change only what you see. They never change shifts, and other people's views stay the same.

Filter the schedule

  1. On Schedule, click Advanced next to the position filter.

  2. The filters panel opens. Click a section to open it.

  3. Click what to show under Areas, Shifts, Times of day, or Staff. The red number counts your filters.

  4. Close the panel. The schedule now shows only matching shifts.

  5. To clear everything, open Advanced and click Reset.

Change how the schedule looks

  1. In the same panel, turn on Always show all staff to list people with no shifts.

  2. Turn on Group by staff member to give each person their own row.

  3. Use Sort by to order people by first name, last name, hire date, or position.

  4. Under Shift item display, pick Shift time only, Box with shift time, or Box only.

Good to know: In Day view, you'll see Show time off instead of the staff grouping switches.

Common questions

What does the red number on Advanced mean?

It's how many filters are on. Click Reset to clear them.

Can I show only draft or only posted shifts?

Not here. Use Multi select and its Filter to pick shifts by Posted status.
