What it does: When Automated Conflict Handling is enabled, Veras will automatically un-assign shifts when these conflicts are detected:
If a staff member's time-off request is approved within your HRIS system
If a staff member is archived within Veras
In either case, any scheduled shifts that are assigned to the staff member in question will automatically be unassigned, becoming open shifts that can be picked up by other staff through the Veras app.
How to enable it:
1. Go to your Settings.
2. In the Community area of the settings, scroll down to find the Automated conflict handling section, and enable the "Auto-unassign conflicting shifts" toggle.
